With the new fixpack 8102 for Quickr Domino the SPR KABS7H7FTG is closed. This should mean that with this version you can integrate Sametime into Quickr (Domino) also when using the native Domino authentication. This was only supportd with LDAP directories before.
Did not have the time to check it out yet. So if you have tested it successfully it would be great if you would give me some feedback…

Sametime Integration in Quickr now works with native Domino authentication
We have sametime using native domino and quickr using LDAP, anyone know if this integration is possible?
Today I installed Quickr against LDAP at a customer site and we successfully integrated their Sametime server which authenticates against Domino directory. LDAP was Domino LDAP and uses the same directory as Sametime authenticates against.
First it did not work (awareness was ok, the chat link in a place was empty), but after we switched Quickr to Domino authentication and back to LDAP again and also deleted all cached Java applets on the workstation the integration worked fine. Not sure which of the two things solved it 🙂
My expirience is that with FP2 and FP3 the chat
link in the place menue is now working, the
“who is online” window opens and is populated. The
awareness icon is still working and you can start
a chat by clicking on it. What is not working in
my environment is the chat link in the users context
menue for example on the members page). I can’t
decide if this is a local problem.
But we had all three working with a special fix for
QR8.1.0.0 HF 19 when working with IBM on this.
Hi , i have integrate the same sametime 8.0.2 with quickr and inotes… both work awareness and chat, but sametime connect client see present only the user logged on quickr..but never the user logged on sametime integrate on inotes. Have you an idea …thanks
